Christmas is such a beautiful time of year. There is nothing like the wonder in a child’s face as he watches the transformation of his surroundings into a magical new world. One of the most amazing things to my children was the fact that we had a tree INSIDE the house! I vowed we would never have an artificial tree.
But one year, circumstances conspired to cause me to break that vow. First, we moved into a 3rd floor condo. Next, we traded in the old family minivan for a sporty soft-top convertible. How in the world could I get a real tree home? There was no way to fit it into the car or tie it on to the cloth top. And don’t even mention trying to haul it up three flights of stairs!
I unenthusiastically dragged myself to the store to look for (oh no!) an artificial tree. But to my surprise and delight, there were dozens of beautiful, natural looking specimens! There were trees of every size, shape, and price range! There were trees sprinkled with “snow” and trees with the lights already in place! But the most beautiful tree of all was the Hunter Fir Pre-Lit Artificial Christmas Tree. This tree had long branches dramatically sweeping down toward the floor. It even had natural looking pine cones!
That year, I discovered all the advantages of having an artificial tree. Here are some of those advantages:
*You only have to shop for a tree once. Each year thereafter you need only unpack your beautiful Christmas tree, set it up, and decorate!
*There is no endless vacuuming of pine needles.
*Artificial trees never have to be watered.
*You leave one more tree alive to freshen and beautify the world when you don’t cut it down and bring it indoors.
*You can find the exact size tree you need for any size room.
*And my favorite advantage is: my tree is pre-lit so there is no need to untangle the strings of lights and wrestle them on to the tree.
There are a couple of things to remember when choosing an artificial Christmas tree.
First, be sure to measure the height and width of the space where you will put your tree. Remember to allow room for your tree topper!
Second, do not skimp on quality just to save on price. You will look at this tree for many Christmases to come so you want to make the best possible selection. You will save in the long run by not buying a tree every year.
Third, choose the Hunter Fir Pre-Lit Artificial Christmas Tree and enjoy a truly beautiful tree for years and years!

The Naturally Playful Woodland Climber is the perfect Christmas gift for your active 2 to 5 year old. There are stairs to climb, a slide to go down, and a steering wheel to "drive"!
Two of the walls are "rock" climbing walls. One wall is more challenging than the other so your child can use more advanced skill levels as they grow and gain more strength and coordination. There is more than enough room for 2 or 3 kids to play in the "tower" and everyone loves to hang out down below. One parent reported that her son brought his blanket and took his nap there!
One of the best features of the Naturally Playful Woodland Climber is the large, sturdy platform at the top of the slide. There is plenty of room to stand and no opening behind the child who is preparing to slide, making this a much safer design than other structures.
The natural color scheme of the Naturally Playful Woodland Climber allows it to blend in with your landscaping much more smoothly than the jarring primary colors used on most play structures. It can also be used indoors, making it perfect for basements or playrooms. It is easy to assemble, taking less than 30 minutes on average.
Just picture the hours of fun your children will have using their imaginations to create their own games involving this "fort" or "castle"! The photos you take of them on Christmas morning will be priceless!
